On 21st Street, we believe community is
more than a destination, it is a journey we take
together through stewardship, reflection, and
practical application of theory.
We welcome collectives and individuals seeking to
contribute to a diverse communal atmosphere
while pursuing their own social justice missions.

ABOUT US
Our mission is to help each other sustainably grow into the best of all our unique potentials.
21st Street Cooperative has a vision of purchasing multiple houses within the Avenue West Neighborhood in Milwaukee, WI. A unique cooperative, 21st Street Co-op is inclusive of occupant-members and neighborhor-members alike.
Each cooperatively-owned house will function autonomously according to the mission focus of its residents. Having the support of the block means each home is nestled within a safe and encouraging environment.
We officially bought our first house in late summer of 2021! It's an old home with a lot of needs - and we love it. A few resident-members have already moved in, and we are now working on some of the other pieces of co-op life.
